I have been going to West Hartford Family Dentistry for 20+ yrs and have always had great care. I felt at ease with the special care I received and they understood my "fears". And today I have a perfect smile - thanks to the fine work and attention they gave me.

I have received excellent care and help with my billing questions from the staff of West Hartford Family Dentistry. Dr. Gilliam is my personal dentist and he is doing an excellent job. The procedures are pain free and I am asked throughout my visit how I am doing and if I am comfortable. I have had dental care provided for me in three different states over a period of 35 years and I would say that West Hartford has given me the best care in my 35+ years of seeing a dentist.

I want to commend West Hartford Family Dentistry for always accomodating my routine and emergency dental needs. I have been a patient for over 20 years. During the New Year's holiday weekend, I chipped my tooth. Dr. Shakun came in on a Sunday and was gracious enough to help me with my problem. It is nice to know that their practice really cares about patients.

My visit today, to have a damaged filling replaced, with Dr. Gillham and his assistant, Justice, was as positive an experience as could be expected (given the nature/circumstances!) Both were thoroughly professional, knowledgeable, and personable. The latter trait's important, too...I would readily recommend your outfit to anyone!

One of my phobias has always been with dentists. I was subjected to a
horrible dentist as a child and my fear never left until I met Dr. Roy Shakun. If I
were to move to California, I would fly back to CT to continue my treatment with him
and his staff. Not only is his comforting personality a pleasure to encounter, his
reconstructive work is a beautiful as a fine piece of art.

Dr. Shakun and his staff are experts in their field. Their work has kept me in good dental health for much of my life. They have cared for my grandchildren as well as their parents, my five children.

If I was designing the ideal dental office, the ideal would be one that offered excellent care, a positive enviroment, a caring approach, with the least possible discomfort. I was fortunate some 15 years ago, to find such a place in West Hartford Family Dentistry, with Dr. Shakun and his staff. I cant praise them too highly and am very thankful they are there to provide me care.
